Pymatuning Property Maintenance, LLC is looking for dependable, experienced Part-Time Snow Plow Drivers to join our team for the upcoming winter season.
This is a seasonal, on-call position. Snow and ice events don’t always happen during regular business hours, so applicants must be willing and able to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate company snow plow trucks safely and efficiently
- Plow and maintain commercial properties during snow events
- Apply salt/de-icing materials as needed
- Follow assigned routes and instructions from supervisors
- Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip equipment checks
- Communicate with supervisors throughout snow events
- Work safely around vehicles, pedestrians, buildings, and other equipment
- Be available and ready to report when called for snow and ice events
Qualifications
- Previous snow plowing experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Comfortable operating a truck with a snow plow
- Dependable and able to report to work on short notice
- Ability to work independently and stay on task
- Comfortable working in winter weather conditions
- Must be able to work varying hours based on weather conditions
- Must hold or be able to pass a DOT physical to obtain a DOT card
Schedule
This is a part-time, seasonal/on-call position. Hours will vary depending on snowfall, ice conditions, and the needs of each weather event. Applicants should understand that snow operations may take place at any time of the day or night, including weekends and holidays.
